The Skyjack SJ46 AJ is a diesel-powered articulating boom lift designed for versatile performance in confined workspaces. It offers a working height of 15.93 meters and a horizontal reach of 7.54 meters, with a platform capacity of 227 kilograms, accommodating two operators. The lift features a 1.52-meter jib with a range of +70° to -75°, enhancing accessibility to challenging areas. Its compact design, zero tailswing, and 45% gradeability provide excellent maneuverability and stability on rough terrains. Equipped with Skyjack's EASYDRIVE™, SKYRISER™, and AXLDRIVE™ systems, the SJ46 AJ ensures intuitive controls, true vertical rise, and durable, low-maintenance operation.
Skyjack’s Articulating Boom Lifts provide versatility in the form of industry leading “up and over” reach capability. Ideal for both construction and industrial applications, Skyjack’s articulating boom lifts feature superior reach capabilities - whether it be at height, horizontal reach, or up and over clearance.
The Skyjack SGE system features a sensor bar that when pushed instantly stops all functions and initiates an audible siren and high intensity flashing beacon. If the bar is released within one second the siren and beacon will cease and the selected function will return.
All Skyjack booms feature zero tailswing and come standard with 360 degree continuous rotation - ideal for working in tight spaces and saving time when platform repositioning is needed.
This means the boom lift controls are always in the orientation of the operator regardless of position of turret over chassis. This reduces operator confusion by eliminating the need for colour coded arrows to determine drive versus joystick direction.
Ensures that the riser and main pivot point connecting the fly boom to the riser travel in a straight vertical line. Movement in a true vertical manner, without drifting forward or back, reduces the amount of repositioning the operator needs to do in order to stay close to a building facade, improving productivity.
An axle-based drive system with an operator controlled locking differential on the rear axle and limited slip differential on the front axle. This drive system has been proven as durable, low maintenance, and capable of navigating any job site terrain.
