The Skyjack SJ45AJ+ is 45ft rough terrain articulating boom lift that offers a working height of 15.54m, a horizontal outreach of 6.93m and an 'Up and Over' height of 7.45m. It is Skyjacks' latest generation of machine and features substantial improvements from its predecessor, the SJ46AJ including its SMARTORQUE technology which allows a smaller, lighter and more economical engine to achieve the same power as larger machine. Thanks to this new technology, the SJ45AJ+ boasts up to 45% fuel and 20% carbon emission savings compared to previous models. It can be driven at its full height of 13.72m and features a unique drive and steer direction sensing system which means the boom lift's drive function operates in accordance with the general orientation of turret's counterweight over the chassis. This means that forward on the joystick will always make the machine drive forward, regardless of whether the machine is slewed or not. The SJ45AJ+ also features an onboard generator allowing the operator to power their tools directly from the machine, eliminating trailing cables and potential trip hazards.
