If you are unsure, please call our Accounts Department on 01942 553 323. ​FUEL CHARGES: All of our fuel readings are based on Real Time Information using the latest technology therefore, no fuel queries/credits will be considered. A copy of the fuel reading can be provided on request. HIRED IN PLANT INSURANCE: Please note: Should you not have your own Hired In Plant Insurance, our normal practice is to add 20% of the weekly hire rate onto each invoice as an indemnity scheme. To avoid this, please forward a copy of your Hired In Plant Insurance Certificate. OFF HIRING EQUIPMENT: Please note: APL DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY OFF HIRE EQUIPMENT. All equipment will remain on hire and bound under CPA T&C’s until an off-hire number is provided by APL. This includes emailed off-hire requests without a confirmed response as we cannot guarantee your email is received. PLEASE CALL OUR OFFICE TO OBTAIN AN OFF-HIRE REFERENCE. TERMS & CONDITIONS: Please note: All hires made through the APL Group of Companies are strictly bound by CPA’s 2021 T&C’s. By accepting the formal quotation, the customer agrees to abide by these conditions and acknowledges that no T&C’s set out by said customer will supersede those set out in the CPA Terms & Conditions 2021.

1. Introduction Aerial Platforms Ltd. (“APL”), headquartered in the UK, specializes in powered access platform hire. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our equipment hire services and website. By hiring from APL, you agree to comply with these terms.

2. Services Offered APL provides the hire of powered access platforms, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, push-around vertical lifts, and telehandlers. Availability of equipment and service areas may vary.

3. User Responsibilities

• Eligibility: Clients must be of legal age and meet specific requirements for hiring equipment.
• Proper Use: Equipment must be used for its intended purpose only and operated by trained personnel.
• Maintenance and Care: Clients are responsible for basic maintenance and ensuring equipment is returned in good condition.

4. Booking and Payment

• Booking: All bookings must be confirmed in writing and are subject to availability.
• Pricing: Hire rates and additional charges will be communicated prior to booking.
• Payment Terms: Payments must be made in full as per the agreed schedule. Late payments may incur additional charges.

5. Cancellation and Termination

• Cancellation: Cancellations must be made with a minimum notice period, and cancellation fees may apply.
• Termination: APL reserves the right to terminate a hire agreement if terms are violated or misuse of equipment occurs.

6. Liability and Insurance

• Client Liability: Clients are responsible for any damage, loss, or misuse of the equipment during the hire period.
• APL’s Liability: APL will not be liable for indirect damages resulting from equipment failure beyond its control.
• Insurance: Clients must ensure adequate insurance coverage for hired equipment.

7. Intellectual Property

• Content Ownership: All website content and materials are owned by APL and protected under copyright laws.
• Use of Content: Reproduction, modification, or redistribution of content without consent is prohibited.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

• Data Collection: APL collects necessary client data for service provision and billing purposes only.
• Data Security: Client data is securely stored and handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

9. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate UK courts.

10. Amendments to Terms APL reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of any updated terms.
